He has also been published in Art Business News and Fine Art Collector and other publications.
Christopher's paintings encompass a range of visual explorations and experiments. Inspired by the Impressionists and John Singer Sargent, his work is also influenced by film, video games, and pulp illustrations of the 20th Century. Christopher looks for the vitality and excitement of life through his work. Some paintings are driven by ideas while others are observational and his own style and viewpoint of the world around us. The one constant is story. Whether it's a busy city street, a pub buzzing with conversations, or a landscape at sunset, our world surrounds us with vivid stories if we're primed to pay attention. There are always stories all around us, stories that give life meaning and purpose. This is what Christopher seeks through his work. |
